hi,
You're right. The reason of this error message comes from the last line of the sysusage.cfg where I've include a "tcp:". Maybe a test not cleaned. Sorry for this, you can safely remove it from the configuration file. I will fix it in next release. Thanks for the report.

Well, this was a **stock** RPM on a Fedora 11 system. I'm rather confused about what could possibly be mistyped when I didn't edit the thing until after I got the error. I downloaded the source RPM, built it, then installed it. Throw me a clue....

Hi,
Most of the time this is due to a miss taping in sysusage.cfg
or the use of an obsolete directive.

Hi,
Next release will include a complete rewrite of CPU usage report,
including %nice. Thanks for the report.

I get the above when using the stock sysusage.cfg from SysUsage 2.12. I commented it out for now.

I've uploaded a patch against SysUsage 2.12 that changes the RRD graphs to contain 4 parameters. Using this requries deleting your existing RRD files and recreating them. If anyone knows a way around that, I'm all ears.

In order to get system+user+nice=total, RRD graphs need four parameters. This patch modifies everything to use 4 parameters, but will require that you delete you existing RRD files. I can't find any method in rrdtool that allows one to add a new primary data series to an existing graph :-(
This patch is against SysUsage 2.12 and also removed "tcp" from the configuration as that does not...

I have "nice" jobs running that suck all available CPU. But I never show more than about 25% CPU use because the total is only usr+sys. How can I get nice jobs included?.
