This is not a bug, it's a feature :)
By default SynWeb using XHtml (simple) validation (HtmlVersion=shvXHtml10Transitional), and in XML/XHtml attributes without values are not peritted.
You need to change highlighter options (or 'engine' options) to: SynWebHtml1.Options.HtmlVersion := shvHtml10Transitional (or any other version you want).

Actually, 'value' is just an example. Any attribute following 'selected' or 'disabled' is underlined. For example, I have '' and 'name' is underlined.
