I'd like to config the precentage / pixel range where you can leave / enter the screen.
Just like with the normal Synergy+ / Synergy2 config file:
screenname:
left(50,100) = @leftscreen
50 and 100 being percentage numbers and you can than just leafe the screen from 50-100 percent, the rest will act as usual!

Please insert a timer to set for the client, so it can retry to connect at server for XX times (0 = indefinite) each YY seconds.
It is a great function for those who start before leopard and after windows.

I'm glad you got it working! Thanks for the offer of the broken plist files, but I don't need them since the version in development right now has a brand new preference file system, and no installer. :) It's also MUCH easier to understand the setup.

I finally found the time to get around to doing this and yes, deleting the existing/leftover .plist file did indeed pave the way for a establishing a working installation!

@azanar: The biggest Mac bug that's bugging me is the cursor staying at the middle of the screen when the real pointer is somewhere else. I'd imagine that there is a way to hide the pointer in OS X somehow.

Sorry, i guess I was unclear.
This is a brand new Mac, and the first Mac I've owned at the office -- I'm moving from using the older PC as my primary computer.
So this config file is brand new and not working.

Ah, your prefs might be messed up if you moved them from a PPC to Intel Mac. I would try deleting it and try recreating the config in the prefpane. Let me know if you still have problems. Thanks!

I'm trying to set up SynergyKM with a new mac (main) and an older PC running Windows XP.
When I try to start Synergy on the Mac, it says:
cannot read configuration "/var/folders/s0/s0VD9fDaEWWMu0Hy52khOE+++TI/-Tmp-/synergy-D3646581-D6F8-4BF2-87EE-7C96379ED74D.conf": read error: line 10: invalid character 0xffffffe2
There doesn't seem to be a .conf file in that folder in the -tmp-...

A side note to "I am no longer able to access any previously entered server configuration options" - the current version will delete the previous config when switching from client to server, or vice versa. This has been fixed in the development version which will be released by the end of the month.
The uninstaller does leave the old prefs. To delete the old prefs, search for any files inside...

The computers' names (as reported in the system sharing pref panel) do contain exclusively alphanumerics and dashes, nothing else. I *believe* though, that I *may* have used underscores in the Synergy screen name field, but I can't be certain about my recollection.
