I upgraded from a version which apparently isn't available anymore. It seems that the mouse acceleration from the mac is being carried over to windows.. which sucks. Had to downgrade to 1.0b6 to fix that. However, now the right click doesn't work either. I upgraded with the hopes that the back/forward buttons on my mouse would finally be supported. Alas, now I only have left click!

Yes! that would be great. I'm an huge keyboard fan. (Or, call it a mouse hater.. :-)
If there is an answer to this, I would love this tool even more.

I'm re-installing Synergy after my computer was migrated from a G5 for a MacPro. At first I just tried opening it up in System Preferences but it wouldn't open -- it just stayed at "opening SynergyKM" and never moved beyond that point.
So I downloaded and installed this latest version (1.0b7) and after I click on Configure, I just get an error that states
AppleScript Error
System...

I figured out what it was. The lock pad was turned on for the apps to start upon login. I unlocked it and it then showed up in there.

Sorry about that, that's a bug. It will be fixed in 1.0 final (out before end of year).

There is a "uninstall" option in the installer. This will stop the service and remove all associated files.

There are some bugs in the current version, but a brand new version is coming out soon. In the mean time, I bet the problem you are having is that you have spaces or other "non standard" characters in one of your screen names or aliases. There should be just standard A-Z, and 0-9 characters. Let me know if that fixes it for you. Thanks!
