A cross-platform ANSI-BBS terminal designed to connect to remote BBSs via telnet, rlogin, or SSH. Supports ANSI music and the IBM charset when possible. Will run from a console, under X11 using XLib, or using SDL.

- Supports character pacing for ANSI animation as well as the VT500 ESC[*r sequence to allow dynamic speed changes
- Comes with 43 standard fonts and allows the BBS to change the current font *and* upload custom fonts. This tool will allow you to create fonts for use with SyncTERM.

Excellent product. I have noticed a bug in the 1.6 version. On some BBS's there is some issue with screen refresh not clearing the entire screen properly. You can see some characters left behind. This wasn't present in the 1.3 version I was using (Windows) It is present on any computer I have tried 1.6 on. I just tried 1.4 and 1.5 and it seems the bug is there as well, so something changed between 1.3 and 1.4

Maybe just for nostalgia, but not necessarily. It creates a very different kind of conversation. You might be surprised and might find it more interesting to try a BBS system. This program is beyond phenomenal for all it does and being available on so many platforms.
