I just can't figure it out.
I have installed SS5 Version 3.7.8 on a fedora 9
It works perfectly without authentication, but with authentication I get this error:

Try using a socks client to sockify putty, ie: hummingbird.

HI,
looking the dump, you can see a socks client request using FQDN as type BUT ip as destination. It is not correct. What kind of client socks are u using?.
