The green check mark should unblock the person again, but if this doesn't work, exit Outlook and delete the file "auto-whitelist" in C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\SIOL.

You could try disabling ClamAV by deleting or renaming clamav.exe in \Program Files\SpamIntelligence. SpamIntelligence does a lot of things and is resource hungry, so it's rather slow on older PCs - sorry about that!

Yes, unfortunately the way ClamAV is implemented can slow things down considerably. Deleting or renaming clamav.exe in \Program Files\SpamIntelligence should do the job - sorry, there's no menu item to do this at the moment.
Hope that helps!
Christian.

The clam AV scanner is almost certainly conflicting with my normal anti-virus..
Is there a way to disable it???
TIA - Bob.

I read the message from sly007;
I can confirm the slowness with outlook 2k as well. The problem as I see it is the built in clam scanner. It almost certainly conflicts with my normal virus scanner.
Is there any way to disable the clam AV scanner???
I certainly don't see any way in options....
TIA
Bob.
