How do you compute positions of planets? I've read article at: http://stjarnhimlen.se/comp/tutorial.html#4
but maybe there are betters algorithms?

Yes. That's right. But for now each planet has some information about it, like radius, mass etc. Please, specify what certain information would you like to see in the next version of Solar Model.

I'm a teacher and I think it would be great to add detailed information for each planet, perhaps from Wikipedia. This could be used in primaray school to search information for planets while viewing them.
