  • Run SINC as a Windows Service?

Just a thought, as a machine running any kind of scheduling has to be "always on", what about setting SINC up to run as a Windows Service instead of a console app? Regards, Amos.

  • prevent dos window to popup

I have a every-5-minutes cron running (for Moodle) on my working PC (win98) and i would like to prevent the DOS window from popping up. I tried the PIF options but 'minimize' does not do the job. I looked for *.bat commandline options but did not find them (besides, they would normally be read after the batfile is started won't they?). reactions welcome at chayes at antenna.nl.

  • Typo in parsing month 8

When parsing the system date the String representation of month 'August' was wrong and therefore denied processing in August.

For what tasks are you using api ? Which api function are you using ? Finally, can you post to the sinc32 mailing list ? becouse I have no...

  • VB Client...

I am working on VB client for SINC32. It's somewhat taking shape (Alpha can be release soon). However, a thought ran across my mind. I want the client to be as light as posible (that's some part I use WinAPI instead of activex control) Just as a survey, what do you guys thing? Rich features fancy? or lightwieght fast client? Thanks.

  • Followup: RE: Just pop-in and say HI.

Boy don't I feel the fool. Here I was thinking you meant the mailing list, when you were using the forums (which get mailed to the mailing list) Ack. Not enough sleep. That's my excuse :) As you can see we don't use our forums very much. The mailing list is certainly our main communication tool--but that said, I don't see why we could't use this as well. Sean.
