Simon are you looking after these patches? I have a large patch from Debian
too including a manpage that should be applied.
If you add me as developer I can update the stuff in CVS and even make a release if
you want to.

On top of the other patches already required for newer GCC versions
this one makes sidplay2 compile on GCC 4.4.0 which is more strict
about const char * prototypes.

I'm running mpd-git compiled with libsidplay2 support.
Indexing my music collection segfaults mpd when it tries to index CAPBTOPAR.SID (attached)

When I started SIDplay (version 4.0), it asked me to sync with the newest HVSC collection. When I confirmed to sync it, it suddenly started deleting all my iTunes music! I can recover it since I have a Time Machine, but still it shocked me how the app can delete those files instantly and without warning.
What could be the problem?.
