What's happening?

Fandango has a very nice readable list of theaters and showtimes And good coverage. The format looked easily scalable to a mobile device. It lists by theater, but clicking on a title gets a description, reviews, and a search to find it in other local theaters. There are even previews. With the connectivity of handhelds these days, Fandango might be a decent replacement. With the right.

Has anyone been able to get Showtimes working or know if someone will update the program? If not, what have you found as a replacement with the same functionality?.

I've been using showtimes for several years now, and it remains my favorite palm application. Like OrionNE, I also hope someone has the time and inclination to update the program. I'm sure there are more of us...Showtimes is a great app!

I haven't tried any of the other parsers, but it looks like all or nearly all of them are already out of date. It may be that Yahoo was the...

Kinda bummer. I actually still use the program. I hope it is a easy fix and someone might have the time and know how. And your right worked great for the past few years. :) OrionNE.

I hadn't noticed this until you mentioned it. I'm guessing you use Yahoo to get movietimes? They've completely changed the layout of their page results, so yahoo.pm is completely broken now. Most unfortunate, but hey, it worked for four years. In Internet time, that translates to like two generations in "real" time. :-)

  • Stopeed working

I noticed today Showtimes stopped getting movie times. GETDATA.PL ERROR: One or more empty databases. OrionNE.

  • getdata.pl error

I have customized the getdata.cfg file with my 84111 zipcode for Yahoo. When I run getdata, I get "GETDATA.PL ERROR:" I'm attaching the the error file. I'm using Vista.
