Welcome and thank you ! Intro: This program is intended to provide to radios or webradios actors, _a simple way_ to send their live audio to one or many streaming server. Note: I am not a professional programmer nor from the heart, just a beginner at Python and gtk. you'll notice that if you happen to read the code! :D however I enjoyed and still enjoying a lot to work on a (somehow) useful program like robinet. Of course, all constructive advices or help is always (and will always be) welcome. Robinet package contains: - the python main program file. - the glade UI definition file - the liquidsoap script designed especially for robinet - some images Requirements: To run the software, of course you'll need a working copy of liquidsoap which should be compiled according to the .liq script requirements (mp3...). Also, remember that robinet uses relatively recent features like dynamic sources etc. Robinet actually uses pulse as input device to create the source. It means that liquidsoap will connect to the local pulse daemon every time a new playlist (ie: a "stream link") is dynamically added. Future: When I think about liquidsoap, a LOT of possible features for robinet comes to my mind ! Next stage is: some code cleaning and (on the fly) metadata implementation. Woot ! Support: I am opened to all of you who are interested to make it run. I am suscribed to the liquidsoap-users mailing list, so you can get me there. Martin Hamant
