I always got the editor working in IE7.
But in IE8 the code below doesn't do anything more:
<input type="button" value="Feed Me!" onclick="window.opener.richedit.docHtml = stuff.value;" />
Anyone have a solution for this?
I have several websites that are using the editor, and if everyone is upgrading i'm getting in trouble...
Hope anyone can...

Hi,
I've just test this page : http://www.richtext.org.uk/rt-0.3/help/samples/test_embedded.asp
That's strange but the bottom part still grey with a message "Loading". I'm with Firefox but I try with IE too.
How to resolve this error ?
Thanks to all,
Cheers,
Nicolas.

I put this at the end of the page, just before the body closing.
<script language=Javascript>
put_docHtml('the text to put in the editor');
</script>.

I've encountered this problem too. As well as Allow Scriptlets, you also need to set "Allow previously unused ActiveX controls" to enable.
Don't forget to restart IE after making these changes

This is answered in the Tracker/Bugs section of site:
Change your security settings (Tools | Internet Options | Security) for
the relevant zone to "enable scriptlets" and then the editor works just
fine.

I am not trying to just see images, I am trying to see text, but my popup editor won't work when trying to view the Rich or HTML area. The rest of the editor works, because looking...
