Its important that you run the command 'python2.5 bin/runsler.py' to run sler under the appropriate python version. Tiger shiped with 2.3 and 2.4 is required for sler.

Hey Tobi,
I installed the macports .pkg, do I have the dependencies now?
I just tried to start sler via the X11 comandline and is says: ImportError: No module named subprocess.
Would be great if you could help me! :)

Could you describe what problems exactly you are hitting?
Once you got the dependencies (i.e. via macports) you should be able to fire up X11.app and start sler from comandline.
On OS X 10.4 I have to execute 'python2.5 bin/runsler.py'
Hope that helps a bit.
Tobi.

Hello!
I successfully install and use Sler on Fedora Core 8, and i would like to use it on Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5 too.
I see some Sler screen shots on Mac Softpedia:
http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Graphics/Sler.shtml
and it shows Sler running on aqua interface. (i don know if is currently on aqua mac or just an osx gtk theme on a linux box)
I install the Sler dependencies via Macports...
