I think that it would be a great feature if you could right click a playlist in the playlist section and select "Copy to Location". This would then copy the files somewhere (I'm thinking of my USB stick MP3 player).

Is there a way to force all podcasts to be downloaded with a specified genre? Or a way to configure what the genre for each podcast shall be? I would like to have all my podcasts accessible via a genre (i.e "myPodcasts").

My music collection is encoded in Apple lossless format, however when I play back with Rhythmbox I get odd static and clicks when the last second of audio is played. I am using Ubuntu 8.04 and Rhythmbox 0.11.5. I am playing back the audio files from an external hard drive.

While trying to investigate a playback issue (which is irrelevant to this report, except as backstory), I downgraded my installation of Rhythmbox from 0.11.5 to 0.11.2, to test if the issue would occur with the older version.
When I started up Rhythmbox 0.11.2, I was presented with this message:

It would be nice to use on line databases such as Gracenote, CDDB, or FreeBD to do an automatic tagging of songs.
I could pose as an example what Winamp does in Windows with Gracenote.

Please consider adding the ability to quickly open the folder containing the selected file. Right click > open folder would be awesome.

Rhythmbox buzzes for a long time with the whole Gnome interface when using
keyboard media-keys for volume +/- with an active Rhythmbox window.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Focus in Rhythmbox window with a playing track.
2. Press +/- volume control media keys on the keyboard.
So, now you can't normally use Gnome interface for some time.

Could suggest a more discreet mini player? the current box is big and isn't convenient to use. Perhaps something similar to winamp mini players (a small bar with the file name scrolling and basic controls.) also the ability to keep the mini player on top of all windows and have adjustable opacity levels. This is all mainly for the aesthetic and convenience part of the player.

The podcast update schedule should be configurable to specify a specific time of day. If not, it should say which time will the update be done.
