I'm the author of a very old little free program, called UNDOReg,
basically a small utility to "undo" registry changes basing on RegShot reports.
I'd like to "update" it for the latest release of RegShot, are you interested?

You should try starting RegShot as Administrator, and as far as the "not responding" is concerned, just give it time: after a minute or possibly more the "not responding" text will disappear and the program will deliver the expected results.

I'm trying to use Regshot 1.8.2 with XP. The "regshot.ini" file has a "SkipDir" section. I cannot figure out how to add more entries.

I used to use sysdiff to build baselines for servers and then would compare baselines prior to patching. Sysdiff does not work with server 2008. Is REGSHOT compatible with 22008 server?

Perhaps you should try 1.8.1 - that version is just 30 KB. 1.8.2 is 70 KB.
