User Reviews

  • While I find this tool tremendously useful, it is lacking in some areas. One, the use of \K is missing, in regex so I can't just delete what occurs after that point. Second, when renaming would cause name clashes, I would prefer it do the rename, and add something to the end to prevent clashes, such as (R), to indicate 'renamed'. Lastly, when there are such error warnings, it should be possible for me to right click on one of the clases and delete it, thus removing the potential renaming error. As it is, I have to go to a file manager, search out the place where a name clash would occur, and THEN delete one of them. When there are over 30 of those, it can take a lot of time to find them and delete them one-by-one. And yes, I have folders with over 10,000 files which chokes it. You simply cannot get to the other files, unless you split the folders to less than 10,000 in a folder.
  • Nothing else do what this thing do! I've been using it for years now, and have yet to find another tool that matches(.*XD) it's features. A must have if you need a fast and flexible way to rename lots of files and directories.
  • Great Job! I wish it were a little more decorative but it's functioning and was easy to use. I found it very beneficial!
  • Really great application for renaming files in bulk. Elegant, clean, straightforward UI. Excellent documentation and excellent set of features. If you're experienced with regular expressions then this is by far the best bulk file renamer for you.
  • It's simple and uncluttered, fast on hundreds of files (or folders), does the job as promised.
