This is a fine tool and I've used it to very good effect for composing/debugging some long and fairly complex regexes. I'd love it if there were support for named capture groups "(?P<fieldname>...)". There could be an option for using the fieldnames::values as the replacement pattern. While on the topic of replacement patterns, it would be nice if one option were to simply number the matches. I have a stupid perl script that creates one a la, "1. \1\n2. \2\n...." Thanks for a great tool.
