Is needed Interpreter variables to "Notepad + +", such as:
- $FILE_NAME
- $FILE_DIR
- $DATE
- $SYSTEM_NAME
- ...
and interpreter as user-defined variables:
- $MY_EMAIL
- $MY_FIRST_LAST_NAME
- $VERSION
- $JOB_NAME
- $...
You can easily insert header information, document headers, addresses, etc., etc.

When there is a character after the cursor, the replace tag function does not work! It will insert a space instead.
i.e.:
[div |][/div]
where | = cursor position, and you enter s in that position:
[div s|][/div]
and press enter key, it become:
[div s |][/div]
but as I defined in QuickText "s" should be style="".
This way of replacing tag work in version 0.1.

I am happy to use the delicious plugin QuickText 0.2.1 and here is what
I found:
in names tag keys can not use the symbol ":" although the version history it is
permissible
from version history to 0.2.1:
* [+] Valid tag keys
(abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ1234567890~!

hello
thank you for this plugin
but
using notepad++ 5.6 unicode (and also in 5.5.x) and quicktext 0.2.1
when enabling quicktext, the multiline tab indentation is not working anymore.

I had that same problem on Windows 7. To fix it, I opened the properties for the configuration file (e.g. C:\Program Files\Notepad++\plugins\Config\Quicktext.ini) and, in the Security tab, gave full access for users.
I'm not sure how similar Vista is to Windows 7, but it shouldn't be much different.

Wether the predefined shortcut "Tab" not any other shortcut set under the menu "Keyboard" works.
Tried with e.g. "Ctrl+q" , "Ctrl+Tab", "Ctrl+Shift+Q" and of course "Tab" but none worked.
The menu entry "Replace Tag Tab" works fine but it is to fiddly to go to that submenu and click the menu entry every time I want to insert Text blocks with quick text.
Any idea?.
