  • "archive not extracted"

I'm getting this error message everytime I try to open a rom from a goodmerged SNES or Genesis archive. The files are all 7z format. For some reason, the goodmerged 7z gameboy collection I have opens fine. All emulators are set for the roms, and the goodmerged support box is checked under the folder options. I'm using the latest version of quickplay. I can't seem to find much information...

  • Will you implement DAT format?

Will anyone implement DAT format for reading ROM dats? And another question, is there a guide of how to make each rom show its screensoot? Thanks.

Rob, have you tried installing 7zip under Wine as well? I'm guessing if its in the same "container" as Quickplay it should work. I haven't set up Wine or Quickplay yet, but its worth a shot.

Hi Vagabond, use the unecm.exe utility you can grab with the ECM toolkit here. http://www.neillcorlett.com/ecm/.

  • how to deal with ecm files

I'm trying to play psx isos with epsxe. Each game has its own directory, with a .cue file and a .7z file. When I click on the game name in QP, the program successfully extracts the iso. However, the iso is still in ecm format, with the extension ico.ecm. The program still needs to extract the iso file from the ecm file. How can I get it to do this?.

I fully endorse this new site because my host is horrible and my files kept disappearing so if everyone from my community could just reregister here, it would be greatly appreciated. Koss.
