  • Capture crash when (un)plugging USB device

Hello, I am using Windows XP SP-SP2. K!TV capture crashes as soon as I plugg or unplugg a USB device. The sound keeps being ok but the image freezes and the only solution is to restart the application. I have tried with different USB devices. I have a WinTV (BT878). Hope this helps, let me now if you need further details.

  • Comment: Vista Compatibility

I've been using Ktv in Windows Vista (Business Edition) with only a few glitches. First, the Aero Theme will be turned off while the current release of Ktv is running. Also, setting the program to run in Windows XP compatibility mode will produce better frame rates.

  • Installer quits with "Error launching installer"

I tried to install K!TV but the installer quits with "Error launching installer". I've set up drive t as temp directory. (TMP=T:\ and TEMP=T:\) If i change that to c:\temp, then the installer works fine. Also, what is 'Stéréo'? :-)

  • Comment: Vista Compatibility

Logged In: YES user_id=271567 I have now tried it with RC2 and the color scheme changes to "basic", then when I try to use the s-video input of my Ati Gfx Card (which works fine in XP) it comes up with the following "erreur" : Error in plugin Plugins/S_WDM.dll: Crash in PluginInfo Is this anything to do with the Ati drivers? As they are still RC1.

  • Vista Compatibility

Can you tell us if this program will be updated to become compatible with Microsoft Windows Vista? I have tried the program with beta 2 and RC1, both times it crashed.

indeed this is the most pressing priority for anyone using the newset generation TNT or DVB devices, which are now much cheaper than existing analogue cards and devices.
