I also can't get ogg vorbis streams to work in iTunes (OS X 10.4.3, iTunes 6.0.1) It would be great if you can look into this. many thanks, bob a t leanbackproductions.com.

same problem. it seems to be a problem with the decoder because qt-spit out and eat functions work properly!

Most excellent! The new component works perfectly (still the delay when loading large files, though). You are my hero!

  • Followup: RE: OggVDecompressorDispatch.h missing from CVS

I don't like your chances; nobody has heard from the admins of this project for a very long time. A new project has been started at <http://www.xiph.org/quicktime/>. Source tarballs and public svn read access are available. If you need to discuss anything regarding the new components, use the Vorbis mailing list: <http://lists.xiph.org/mailman/listinfo/vorbis/>.

And I hope our co-operation will not stop with new project. I will try to contact personally all the developers who contributed to...

  • Followup: RE: If you don't mind...

Please see: http://www.barelyfocused.net/_old/oggvorbis.html regarding (kind of) the first part of your question. As for the "xiph" and "mac" part I think I have just the right answer! ;) Please see: http://www.xiph.org/quicktime/ Regards, Arek.

  • Followup: RE: If you don't mind...

I don't know if r45 is a software of this project, but shouldn't the version number and identifier in the info.plist be something like 'r45' and 'net.sourceforge.qtcomponents.qtoggvorbis'? (I tried to check which Ogg component I installed, but the only evidence I found was the modified date that matches r45.) Anyway, it seems the entire xiph file formats can debut properly on Mac (not on...
