Blueapple2 has created a PI Analysis program that reveals rational qualities to pi.

This C program calculates the value of Pi for circles, spheres and hyperspheres by brute force mechanisms. So you can experimentally verify that Pi is same in 2d 3d and even 4d. Source codes in C and Php and Win32 exe can be found at http://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?release_id=97667.
