  • PowPlan.exe is working again for me with Win 8.1 (Update)... one Windows regular update, 6/9/2014, seemed to kill it ("Your System Administrator has blocked this program...", this is a home PC), and a second update, 6/10/2014, seems to have settled the problem... powplan.exe is working again.
  • There is still a need to show more than 2 (with one locked) power plans on windows. But this program cannot be run in Windows 8.1 update1 . So please provide a fix firstly. Thanks
  • This App is exactly what windows 7 misses in the era of power plan managment. It doesn't need any installation or such things, you can just run it. I had some trouble enabling it on the startup by the option available in the program itself, so I put it in the startup manually. I just made a shortcut to it and put the shortcut in the "startup" folder (available in start menu - all programs). * just one beauty suggestion: I think you better make the taskbar icon a bit more alive. Not that it should be 3D or anything difficult. Just if the surroundings of the battery in the icon is transparent instead of solid white would be great. * It also can be improved to show more options in it's icon. i.e. it can show a little plug near the battery when you have ac adaptor connected to your laptop. (just like the windows' original battery indicator) Thanks
