I'm working on a stand alone ACL system and am currently looking at the best way of implimenting the logic with as little relience on SQL as possible.
Can you advise me as to the approach you used?.

v1.0 RC1 of PortalAPI is finally out.
Unfortunately I've not been able to test it under Win32, so I don't know how it behaves. If you find any bugs, please submit them to the bug tracker on SF.

Release date for v1.0 RC1 is approaching. I am adding some finishing touches to the code and I'm going to test it under win32 in order to see if it's fully compatible.
