I'm getting an error on line 12 of server.pm and its reference to exporter says the command changes and can't accept the 'attach' method> I added server.pm to my main root of the perl (active perl) I have installed on a win32 with xp. I think I had some kind of shell when I first tried a few years ago. Anyone, email me if you I can contribute to the build, I can set up a unix machine as well...

This approach sounds interesting... If you are interested in sharing your code, I would be willing to have a look at it, and put together the basics for insertion into SourceForge.
I will admit to self interest driving me here, because I need a fast native perl web server for use on a handheld device.
