I've tried several file managers under Pop OS (Ubuntu strain), the latest version of PCManFM (1.3.1) under PopOS 21.04 offers a crisp, compact display. Great, except for one thing. My eyesight isn't too good, and I get headaches from peering at the tiny font. I can't find a way to increase it (other that a deep dive into X configuration). I can adjust the size of icons in several ways, but the font stays tiny. I think accessibility should be relevant. Also: there is no obvious way to set the default folder view mode.
