Parity Builder constructs rosters from individuals with the goal of making the rosters as comparable as is possible. Sample applications include building teams in recreational sports leagues and assigning students to project teams or study groups.

- No fixed limits to the number of individuals and attributes
- Project templates (for projects that repeat)
- Enter individuals directly or import them from a spreadsheet (via CSV files)
- Specify limits on the number of rosters assembled
- Specify limits on the size of each roster
- Require all individuals to receive an assignment or allow some to go unassigned
- Balance the average values of quantitative attributes across rosters
- Balance the proportion of individuals with qualitative attributes across rosters
- Restrict pairs of individuals to be on the same roster or to be on different rosters
- Specify priorities for all criteria
- Set time limits on the solution process
- Stop the solution process at any time and accept the best known set of rosters
- Export rosters (via CSV files)
