Tracker entry for the email problem submitted by "FiREiCE" on 30th Oct, 2008:
if the string includes a upper case,eg:"eE" i cann't get the correct value.
your MD5 rtl result for eE is f0c90485641e0f5b87380ed1d1ad5c49 .the input width is 8'h10
but the correct valur should be acd7664da6a1296fb47fcc89a830970d.

Thanks for reporting this. It seems none of the 'error' messages is actually an error and all of them are reported due to lack of basic synthesis features by the synthesizer that was used (such as 'synopsys full_case parallel_case'). None of these problems shows up when one uses a standard synthesis tool.

Hi there,
Let me start of by saying that I have very little FGPA experience and thank you very much for creating this.
Pancham builds fine in simulation mode, and the tests all pass, but when I try synthesize or build an FPGA target I get:
../design/pancham.v:199: error: Guard expression is not constant for synthesis.
../design/pancham.v:212: error: Guard expression is not constant...
