Ross G sent me the code instead and wants me to install a mashup server and get the code running on our side instead of providing stuff on his side. I've sent him a few questions regarding how to do this, does the machine have to be open toe the internet, etc.

This is running right now for ds 143 (oct). I'd say the parse will be done in 3-4 hours. I will have to re-write the collector to look at the html after collecting it and make sure that there was not a collection error. Sometimes the stats server reports "down" when you try to look at the page, and right now I still store that html. It's not very useful.

Follow up with Rob Cakebread at doapspace.org about the Python Package Index that he's spidering. He offered to write code to import DOAP into MySQL using our datamart schema. He also offered spidered pages with release announcement info. See ossmole-discuss message on 19 August, 2008.
