The settings I specified above worked. I had not deleted the temp files from IE after processing the tiles. But its effectively doing the same by re scaling the maps.

Hi Andy
Either the tilecutter isn't set up to process the 1:10k files or the parameters in the config file need tweaking somehow. Perhaps OS would like to comment?
The one way round it I've found is to scale the tiles to 5000x5000, the same as Streetview, and process those with the tilecutter. The resolution isn't as good, although text is legible, but the rescaling was a quick one using...

Hi Alan
Can you confirm this - you've got the API script, Postgres database, and Tomcat installed on one box (your PC?), and are serving out your basic web page from there, with only your data being held on the separate server? Have you amended the providers table in the database so that the parameters field points to the server where your data is held? I haven't tried splitting up the...

Hi
I've got the OSGBWebMapTools installed fine and serving up pages on my localhost (B2851). I have previously used OpenSpace but as we already have the maps thought I'd setup a local server. I had a page which would pinpoint an address by northing and easting from our addressing system, this worked fine with OpenSpace, however, with OSGBWebMapTools, the map tiles don't appear. It looks as...

Ok got everything working, so decided to drop back and replace the streetview with 10k.
The 10000 are 7874 pix wide for a 5000m tile. Editing the datasets.config.xml I changed the resolution as follows:-
<dataset id="10k" resolution="0.635">
<provider>
<fileset id="1" basedir="/Data/OrdnanceSurvey/10k/">
<include...

Finally, solved it!
It turns out that the Python script build_OSGBWebMapToolsAPI.py should reference a config file (OSGBWebMapTools.cfg) which dictates the order in which the various individual Javascript files appear in the final single script, and for some reason it wasn't picking this file up. Once I'd amended the script to load this file explicitly, rather than pick it up from the...
