Is there presently a way to to limit the documentation generated based on created or last_ddl_time fields in user_objects?

Raghu, good news.
I've discovered a bug in oraschemadoc on Windows with that dot call. It's fixed in SVN from last week. Now I have to test it on UN*Xes.
Then I'll release new version.

Yes, it is. I dont have big experience with command line :) old school :) I think that warning message tricked me, because I was expecting more messages, if some param is missing. Not general "usage" message.

there should be "usage" message (README) writen if there is any missing parameter, IMHO...
anyway, check new SVN revision:
http://oraschemadoc.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/oraschemadoc/trunk/oraschemadoc/oraschemadoc.py?r1=110&r2=112.

yep, that DIA thing... I agree with your proposals but I've never touched it at all - it's years old.
hint: You can use Objects/Align Dia's menu to do it manually.
Now I'm playing with some Dia file generators but there isn't any with sane results. E.g. Graphviz Dia output paints everything as curves but it doesn't connect lines etc.
Take it as "in progress" stuff, please.

Message is good. But it's not relevant to real error. Without app name specified, script doesn't work. So, maybe there should be a message, that "no app name specified".

well, I'm glad you get it working.
That message you see in the console is just a warning. I'll remove it propably as it's disturbing (and propably obsolete in Python).
Thanks for pointing me into it.
