  • Can I add Excel type columns ?

Hi Just downloaded the program yesterday and very happy with it, it seems to handle what I need very simply and intuitively, thanks. It would be very handy if I could run simple calculations in the column section as below. Thanks in advance Dave Example. I'd like to add columns to calculate the time it would take to process 1,232 parts if each part takes 23 seconds to process...

  • big bugs in importing Project files

Hello, When I import files from Project 2007, all the date are fake. When I wrote 1 week in Project, it is transformed into 3.828 days ! Why ? Then for a project that lasted 1 year, I have lost more than 1 month and everything is false. OpenProj writes the dates with the hour and it gives a lot of mistakes. When I write in openproj "1s", it is transformed into "5 days"...

  • How to change working calendar

Running: latest version on March 2013, Mac OS X As with many applications using Microsoft DBs, registering changes implies each interaction is confirmed before taking effect. Please select weekdays on Calendar (press weekday name), change working h (select non-standard calendar) and click ok: it must be done for each workday, that is, change Monday, click OK, change Tuesday, click OK, ...

  • Followup: RE: Print Notes?

I too would like to print the notes out associated with each task. It would be fine if the task notes would print out after the spreadsheet portion, printing them beside the other spreadsheet fields would be messy. Some of my notes are a couple of pages long. Please? :)

  • Followup: RE: Circular dependency need SS and FF

Critical Path Methodology and the certifying bodies on project management all do not allow for circular links. You can get around this potentially by putting in date constraints or the relationships as you noted.

  • Circular dependency need SS and FF

Example: Task 1 - 10 day duration - pour slab floor on grade Task 2 - 2 day duration - install plumbing for radiant heating Task 1 needs to start at least 1 day before Task 2 starts, because the bottom layer of the slab needs to be installed before the plumbing. Then, Task 2 needs to be finished before Task 1 can be finished. If I put in a SS+2day Task 1 >> Task 2 dependency, and...

  • Followup: RE: Start Start and Finish Finish

Agreed. I had this issue in the forst 5 minutes of use. I'll give an example: I want to pour a slab foundation/floor, but within this concrete pour, I need to place plumbing installations. Therefore, I need to start the concrete pour before the plumbing starts to go in, and I need to finish the plumbing before the concrete finishes. This looks like: 1. Pour slab 2. Install plumbing...
