Open-DIS implements the IEEE DIS protocol in multiple languages. Open-DIS is an open-source implementation of the Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) IEEE-1278 standard in C++, C#, Objective-C, Java, Javascript and XML. Example applications including sending and receiving native DIS traffic, X-Plane plugin, and WebSocket/Javascript/WebGL applications are available. In this download area there are: languages.zip: Implementation langagues for Java, C++, C#, and Objective-C. There are also experimental implmentations for Javascript and Python. java.zip: The most recent release of the Java language implementation. DisWebSockets.zip: An example that uses WebSockets to send DIS data directly into modern web browsers XPlaneDisPlugin.zip: An example that implements a plugin for XPlane, a popular high resolution COTS flight simulator.
