  • "Entry Point Not Found" Error

"The procedure entry point glTextEnvfv could not be located in the dynamic link library OPENGL32.dll." I get that error every time I try to start the program.

  • Second Life avatars not accurately captured.

I have been trying to grab the *exact* mesh (as displayed) on screen of a Second Life. When I try this with OGLE it seems to only capture the mesh with morphs applied (like facial features), but not skeletal deformations (like height and hip/shoulder width). To be sure of this I set two avatars side-by-side and gave them identical shapes except that one had the minimum height, the other had...

  • Followup: RE: O::gAE Unable to DeRef Vertex Array

I'm experiencing the same issue. OGLE seems to run okay and generates a 50-60k .obj file with a few polylines but nothing 3-dimensional. Here's my gliLog SCALE: 1.000000 CAPTURE NORMALS: 0 CAPTURE TEX COORDS: 0 FLIP POLY STRIPS: 1 LOG FUNCTIONS: 0 OBJFileName: ogle FilePerFrame: 0 FileInFrameDir: 0 TRIANGLES: 1 TRIANGLE_STRIP: 1 TRIANGLE_FAN: 1 QUADS: 1 QUAD_STRIP: 1 POLYGON: 1...

  • Followup: RE: capturing Google Earth problems

I'm also experiencing some problems with OGLE 0.3b / GLIntercept 0.5 / win7 x64 / Google Earth 5.1: I've been reading from a couple of forums and am farily sure I've installed the applications properly. Upon executing GLIntercept in Google Earth, a gliLog file as well as a Frame_* folder are generated. The gliLog file begins with the following text: "FunctionParser::Parse - Unable to open...

  • Followup: RE: capturing Google Earth problems

I have a problem with the OBJ. The OBJ is successfully created in the Google Earth directory, but it is only about 70 KB. I understand from other posts that it should be > 1 MB. When I open it in Rhino and Maya, what I think should be the building objects (not the GUI elements) are just flat polygons. I'm trying to capture a small area of Manhattan. - I've zoomed in and selected every object...

If you are using Vista or Windows 7 - ensure you are running as administrator. And if you are using the 64 version of the OS, copy the duplicate system opengl32.dll from "C:\Windows\SysWOW64" (instead of the System32 folder)

  • Followup: RE: VirtualWind creates a 0MB obj file

It sounds like VirtualWind doesn't use a recent enough version of OpenGL.

  • Followup: RE: capturing Google Earth problems

Has anyone successfully used OGLE recently to extract from Google Earth 5? I used it some time back successfully but now can't get it to work for me, and installing GE 3 or something is no longer an option (you're forced to upgrade for some reason). I'd love to be able to get some more OGLE extraction done but seem stuck. If anyone is still doing this, please contact me or post a reply here...

  • Followup: RE: no ogle,obj

i'm trying to get the .obj file also. i seem to have a hard time figuring out on what i need to do or look for, whether it's the configuration file or just the plugin(s). I can get the logs ("gliLog.txt" and "gliInterceptLog.txt"), and the images, but i'm just not getting an .obj file. could it be that i misunderstood the instructions on exactly what to do? i'm not even...

  • Problems with Google Earth Pro

I've got OGLE working for google earth, but my company recently purchased google earth pro and after following the same procedure used for google earth it always produces empty .obj files. However it still creates the frame directory as usual, with the images and log file in it. Has anyone got any experience with using OGLE with google earth pro, or with OGLE creating a zero size .obj file?.
