oh ok but how do in install it? the .tar.bz2 file type is new to me. how do i use the files?.

First you have to install [obexftp][1]. Then, on the configuration dialog, just find the obexftp executable by clicking the "Find..." button (it usually can be found at /usr/bin/obexftp).

upon testing the connection in the configuration it says obexftp application not found. i really want to get it to work.

I removed the option
-Dswing.defaultlaf=org.jvnet.substance.skin.SubstanceCremeLookAndFeel
from the start up script and it is ok now. It isn;t as beautiful as before though...

I tried the program and it works as it should. The only problem is the really small fonts. Can I make them bigger?

New interface doesn't fit well with user desktop style, and replaces the window manager (that's absolutely not a good idea). That means a unexpected behavior which depends on WM user preferences (for example, move or resizing is very CPU intensive on some cases).
Please, let users choose if they want the old app appearance.
