I can't get it to work. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I keep getting the following error when running mythtv-setup: 2018-12-10 13:32:47.804405 E DB Error (MythDB::LoadCacheFromSettings): Query was: SELECT value, data, hostname FROM settings WHERE hostname = :HOSTNAME OR hostname IS NULL ORDER BY hostname DESC; Bindings were: :HOSTNAME="mycomputer" Driver error was [2/1064]: QMYSQL: Unable to execute query Database error was: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ':HOSTNAME OR hostname IS NULL ORDER BY hostname DESC' at line 1 2018-12-10 13:32:47.808407 E Error preparing query: SELECT value, data, hostname FROM settings WHERE hostname = :HOSTNAME OR hostname IS NULL ORDER BY hostname DESC; 2018-12-10 13:32:47.808407 E Driver error was [2/1146]: QMYSQL3: Unable to prepare statement Database error was: Table 'mythconverg.settings' doesn't exist THIS IS THE MYSTERY: mythtv-setup adds tables to the database, but then it complains that about missing tables!
