  • Comment: Launch phased array spike sorter

    Spike sorter is provided by an extension block. Make sure you have the gicspikesort block installed and that it is loading correctly.

  • Comment: unexpected behavior of clusterTrains1

    This is a somewhat silly bug (failure to check for a zer-length array before trying to calculate things using it). Fixed in mienblocks revision 42. Note that this is actually a bug in an extension block. Extension block code is intended to be a lot more rough-and-ready, and special purpose, than core mien code. This turns out to be a real bug, and I'm happy to fix it, since that's one of my...

  • unexpected behavior of clusterTrains1

    I am trying to calculate spike clusters, so I select Dsp -> gicmext.comparators -> clusterTrains1 Nothing changes in my DataViewer window, and the terminal says this: 40 (84, 0) 40 85 (88, 1) 85 90 (74, 2) 90 75 (70, 0) 40 71 (55, 0) 40 56 (92, 5) 56 98 (88, 6) 98 94 (91, 4) 71 99 (90, 8) 99 97 (69, 8) 99 72 (21, 8) 99 21 (76, 8) 99 82 (63, 0) 40 66 (52, 13) 66 54 (40, 14...

  • Comment: Can't load file in DataViewer

    This is not a bug in te current (r372) mien code. It was a bug in earlier versions of the code that wrote an unparsable mienrc file. You can resolve this in several ways. The easieset is to delete ~/.mienrc and re-run mien. If you want to keep you settings, you can also open a mien application with no file inputs and use file->preferences to re-write the configuration file. FYI: The problem...

  • Can't load file in DataViewer

    This is partially a test of the bug tracker system, though I do also have this real problem right now. I try to call DataViewer and have it open the file "zaneSpikes.mdat" and it appears for a sec and then crashes. This is the terminal output: mien -a data zaneSpikes.mdat 0.64418387413 -- 14:53:34 -- There are too many channels in this dataset. Forcing image view. Other view modes...
