The purpose of the markup-referent library is to replicate the functionality of OmniMark's built-in referents, but for markup processing.

The library consists of a single module, named markup-referents.xmd, and requires OmniMark version 9.0 or newer.

If you wish to run the test scripts in the test directory, you will also need to download the pretty-markup library. Unpack both library archives in the same directory, go to the markup-referent/test/ directory, and run the following command:

omnimark -f sections.xar
