When the madedit open two or more files at the start time or open another file by using the popup menu of the Nautilus, the madedit crashed.

When I click "New File" the MadEdit will crash.
The error "madedit[2297]: segfault at 0 ip 000000000049eed8 sp 00007fffea2cdbd0 error 4 in madedit[400000+4b6000]" from /var/log/messages
OS: Ubuntu 9.10 64bitVersion: MadEdit 2.9.1 amd64.

I have the same problem, it only occur, if you enabled "Single Instance" or create a second tab.

"**Segmentation fault**" on new updated linux systems, like debian lenny, ubuntu 9.10, happens while creating the second tab, everything unsaved lost.
Seems BUG from madedit itself, I'm not sure, but now it's working badly.

I confirm it. But it happens only with the "Replace all" function - the single "Replace" works.

Yes, I sent emails long ago. Still no reply.
You can use my version from the given link in my previous post if you use MS Windows.
If someone compile it for Linux, please let me know. I want to add Linux executable in my archive.
