Well neither the official MSN Messenger client nor yours let you change
the port you communicate to messenger.hotmail.com to port 80 (or even
better, try 1863 and then default to 80). I emailed Microsoft support
about a week ago so I encourage you to beat their fix ;P
Otherwise I'm stuck using Gaim in X11 at school :( fugly...

it enters that same problem when im chatting to various people. even when its not heavy chatting just if i switch from one user to the next, even if it takes me a few minutes to switch. so im not allowed to talk to numerous people while connected heh. i have over 30 people in my contacts. and theres alot of ppl either signing out or signing in...and if that happens it runs into the same prob. no...

I've got a big problem!
When I try to chat with a contact (by clicking on his
name as usual), the chat window is open but I can't see
it, I don't know why , it's hidden.
well I'm not sure I'm clear enough but I don't really
know how to explain it..
An example: I click on a contact to chat with him, on
the top of my screen I see that the window is open but
nothing appears on my screen...

3.5.2 version has, I have found out, chat text not
being saved automatically. Also window visibility when
in other apps is a problem.
