Linak59, you're right. The home page must be updated, I was under the impression I had a link to the sourceforge download there, not a direct link. Thanks for pointing that out! Linedubeth62, I'm not sure I entirely understand you. But if you don't have the card connected all kinds of errors come. The command line tool shouldn't make so much noice, just complain a little.

Hi mr_brain! You wondered why people downloaded version 0.2 and not 0.4. Could it be that they have searched on google for "k8055 linux" and find the link to http://libk8055.sourceforge.net/. On the bottom of that page is a link to version 0.2 and not the latest version.

Why don't you try the v0.4 release? There are quite a few bugs fixed after v0.2. Actually most of the questions that comes is regarding v0.2, I have no clue whatsoever why the majority seem to download the old version...

I had some problems getting the Qt-ui to work and I can't get the plot apps to work -- dev-python/pyqwt-4.2-r1 fails to emerge. Oh well, they're not super important. On thing though: I believe DA should be AD on the Qt-ui, and vice versa.

It never stops to surprise me how many people are using this card in Linux. I'm glad that the library serves a purpose :)

Thank you very much for sharing this! It works fine on my 64-bit Gentoo.
