Alright.... after alot of fiddling both software and hardware wise, I've kinda given up. I need the polling feature to make sure that the disc actually went into the drive. I can't seem to find any decent linux alternatives to looking at what is in the drive from the CD-Rom standpoint. I really need to be able to poll the DC016RW as to what it thinks is in the drive.

This device is already supported in the svn. Check the support thread here (https://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=2922727&forum_id=613438).
Basically, just download the svn, compile, and you're ready to go at this point.

I've got some SnoopyPro logs of the USB-transfers with the PowerDrive DC016, which is a 100 cd/dvd carousel with built-in DVD burner

Support has been added for standard and vendor functions via the current dacal plugin. Needs some comprehensive testing before this can be fully closed out.

Now the dacal_slot_to_drive vendor function works perfectly. :D
And as far as I am concerned I don't need any more functions/features.
I'll just keep track of what disc is in the drive programatically, also it doesn't matter to much I would think....
If you have disc 43 in the dvd drive, and you ONLY give the command to insert disc 10 into the drive. The unit will...
