Hi,
i want to use putty in serial mode to send at commands to my dialup modem. My modem will dial a number to stablish a connection with another modem. Do you think le-putty will work once the connection is stablished?

Can a motivated coder add a "search" item to the copy , clear and reset section of the putty window menu.
This will help greatly in daily tasks and finding needed text in the scrollback.

Adding an option for Kermit upload/download to Le Putty would make this very attractive. The interface for Le Putty is perfect for users familiar with other expensive products. Most Free terminal emulators that provide Kermit don't provide simple options like font size adjustment with screen maximization which Le Putty does do. Kermit file transfer would definitely make this tool a viable...

The default save location for received files should be under My Documents\PuTTY. The correct location is stored in the registry, so you won't have to care about localization there or changed settings.
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders]

LePutty should assume that rz.exe and sz.exe are at the same place where putty.exe is located.
Even if the options say that it is somewhere else, fall back to check the program directoey if the rz.exe and sz.exe were not found at the configured places.

the way the I/Os are done in Putty).

Hi all,
this new build (with a sync with the latest Putty) addresses a problem with zmodem transfer that was very annoying: it used to look like it was hanged on big files, even though it was still transfering data in the background. This is now fixed, so you get a good ETA, etc.
