Theres already -online and -tray switches in the code, and you can make a windows seculed task with these in the advanced options, however I have added options in to the menu in mine and wrapped it in a nice installer, email me at spam[dot]steve[dot]cole[@]gmail[dot]com.

From the main window >Users ->Enter chat...
However everyone on the LAN can see that chat, and it wont make the chat window pop-up.

Hello!
It would be nice if I could open several parallel chats with different users.
eg:
- Chat "Development" with User1, User2 and User3
- Chat "Finance" with User2, User5, User6 and User7

Got the same problem... works great for xp but my vista laptop cant run it and get that message... if you need the details of my message (even tho it seems to be the same) let me know.
