Hello, Difficult issue. As you say, the same exists for Ruby. And virtually all languages but a few mono-product ones. The difficulty is to say if the contribution of child languages would add in a homogeneous way to the families. Comment: initial search counts are inflated
Yahoo and Bing solved (as far as one can with a result count very unstable over result pages, browsers, sessions,...). Google seems not to need it, or inflate consistently over result pages. Adding &start=99 would be possible if the issue is popping up again.
