  • Under SuSE 9.3 the menu don't appear in the Konqueror-menu

With the default installation under Suse-Linux 9.3 the ksvn-menu don't appear in the konqueror popupmenu. The reason is, that the installer try to copy the file "ksvn.desktop" in the wrong directory. If you copy the file in the directory : "/opt/kde3/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus" it works.

  • Comment: Loading doesnt end after performed action

I have the same problem with KSvn 0.2 (debian package) svn 1.1.4 (r13838) Although the svn command(e.g. update) has been executed successfully, the "OK" Button remains disabled.

  • Comment: Cannot connect to repository through https?

I am using KSvn 0.2 (debian package) to work with a https repository (I am even tunneling everything through ssh). Probably this ist NOT a problem of KSvn but of your svn library!? type "svn --version" at the command prompt and look for a line saying that it can handle https scheme.

  • Cannot connect to repository through https?

With Ksvn, I seem to be unable to do a checkout from a repository that's being served over https, through Apache. Updating a directory that contains files that I've checked out by shell also isn't possible. Would it be possible to include https as a protocol?.

  • Loading doesnt end after performed action

Hi I hope i'm not just doing anything wrong: Always when ksvn successfully performed an action (like checking out, updating or commiting), my cursor stays a "clock" (loading), the action-windows title still tells me the program was "loading" and the Buttons remain non-clickable. For example when i update a project the last log entry is Action: Revision | File Path: 133. Then nothing...

  • Move / rename?

I don't think I can move or rename files with the current 0.2 version. That would be a good feature.

  • Comment: reflect status of file/directory

Logged In: YES user_id=1257817 ---- Duplicate of Feature Request #1211846 ---- We are currently looking at moving KSvn to C++, which should enable greater KDE integration and more features. When we do this we will also look into whether it is possible to offer icon overlays or different coloured listings depending on the svn status of the file. Regards, Luke.

  • reflect status of file/directory

It would be cool if you could see at the icon of the directory or file whether it's added to the repository, whether it is changed locally but not yet commited, whether it's synchronised with the repository, etc.. Just like tortoisesvn on windows (http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org)

  • Comment: Do not require root access for install

Logged In: YES user_id=1257817 No worries and thanks for the report. You're right that the user should have an option to install it in whichever location they desire, as well as the option to install it for only one user rather than system-wide. We will look at implementing this for the next release. In the mean-time, it is possible to manually install it in any location you desire. To...

Logged In: YES user_id=70886 Sorry, after thinking about the tone I used, I probably came across as ungrateful. I do appreciate your efforts towar making a product that is potentially very valuable.
