Many graphics-file formats like PNG, JPG, TIFF, BMP, PCX, etc. are able to hold DPI-information from a picture, while others don't (like GIF).
If present, it's possible to calculate the printout-size, i.e.
DPI-Resolution stored in graphics-file: 300dpi
image-width : 1.772 Pixel => 15,0cm (5,91")
image-height: 2.362 Pixel => 20,0cm (7,87")

This is fixed in the latest version of ksquirrel-libs. Apply patch from
http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/KSquirrel?content=12317
or just redownload ksquirrel-libs' sources.

1-bit images are not currently supported, this PCX file is also conflicts with PCX spec.

Hello there,
I've reopened this bugreport again, as I'm unable to get shown the 2nd page of the attached TIFF-file with ksquirrel.
The file was created with xsane 0.991
* I.e. with kfaxview the pages are correctly shown.
* Also konqueror correctly shows on the "file-properties" that it is a multipage-TIFF containing 2 pages.
