I ran "sudo texhash", installed sip 4.8.2-1, pyqt-py26 3.18.1, rebuilt kodos, and still have garbled fonts. Anything else I can try? Is pyqt or kodos really pulling TeX fonts?.

Run "sudo texhash"
I've been considering adding this as a postinstall script but haven't checked yet to see whether it is already supposed to do that, etc. I guess I haven't added this pointed to the info file either; I should at least do that.

This might also be a sip or pyqt 3 issue, but I am seeing mangled fonts in kodos under fink an MacOSX. Any ideas what might be causing this?.

Hi,
Does kodos work with pyqt4?
Thanks,

It's be nice to be able to resize the UI panels - especially since most of the time you don't need to see the regexp, search string and results all at once. If one could resize these panes it'd make debugging large regular expressions much easier (especially in VERBOSE mode).

Sometimes, while editing complex regular expressions one can accidentally change the current regular expression in such a way that the pattern becomes infinately recursive. When this happens, Kodos locks up for a very long time.
What would be nice is if Kodos could do the parsing in some background thread, thereby leaving the UI responsive. Another way to make this bug less painful would be...

If you attempt to import a regex from a URL via the "File -> Import URL ..." dialog and you are behind a firewall, Kodos completely locks up.

I have found a bug in the program that made it freeze:

I noticed this as well.

Oops! Short between the headset! I discovered the problem is mine. KODOS is working the same as my program code but I don't know how to fix the REGEX to get what I want - but that is my problem.
Thanks for letting me bend your ear!

Lloyd Taylor.
