I planed to use jsvc maybe in order to launch jws as a daemon. If I will implement that, there may be a chance to use the usual unix way: start the daemon as root but change the permissions later to nobody.

IP / INETNUM lookups have been implemented in 0.3.0.0
Regarding ripe.db.inetnum and ripe.db.inet6num: you may adjust you DB schema and write a small script importing the files.
