Hi,
i'm new in developing iphone apps and now want to make my first projekt with jointspace. I have seen harvengj's youtube video and very excited about the app. @harvengj: Do you see any change to give me sourcecode of your app. I can import it in Xcode and go on with some more development.
Thanks

I have asked my collegue Tim who created the iPhone application to help you.
I have never used the Apple iPhone SDK personally. Normally you should be able to create an objective-C application under XCode and link it against the jointSPACE SDK librairy you cold compile.
For the rest, It is just about calling the right functions of the API at the right moment.
The samples on the file repository are not compilable as iPhone apps so you will have to do it yourself.
As soon I have the sources from Tim, I will publish them that you have a sample to start from.

I have got Tim Vandecsteele's remote TV on my iPhone and got it working with my Philips 56pfl9954h.
It is really great.
But one function I really need is the ability to change the aspect ratio.
Is it possible to check if it can be included, or how I can email/contact Tim.
(maybe is should even try using the source code myself :) )
Thanks for your help
Dave

The app on Ipod toch 4th gen works great, a lot of problems are on the TV side instead of the greate sourceforge tool I guess. however I find that the navigation "buttons" up/down/ok etc seem to lack their functionality I would suggest turning the button 45 degree's so you get a more clear up/down/left and right distinction (the black square with the + as a divider)

I attempt the Philips WiFi TV Remote program. It is really a nice program. For now I miss the this functionality :
- iPad support
- One Screen with all TV Channels to direct touch to the single TV channel.
There is no need to write a App which imitate a TV Remote controller.
The Screen is big enough to create a App with a better user interface.
I think all channels fit into one screen (iPad).
Like this (c1 channel one, c2 channel 2 …. cN channel N)

Hi,
Feel free to experiment and contribute. The source code is freely available at https://github.com/tim-vandecasteele/Philips-Wifi-TV-Remote
Let me know if you have any problems.
